23 tons, and what do you get?
As many of you know, The Open Door shares much of its gleaned food from several local supermarkets with over 18 other agencies.  One of the agencies that receives gleaned food items from us recently sent us their total amount of food obtained from us, in poundage, from the 2008 year.  Not including several hundred pounds of pallets of several products, this agency received almost 23 tons of gleaned food from The Open Door last year.  Again, this amount of food was from just ONE of the over 18 agencies that we share food with.  Especially in troubled economic times such as these, I am grateful to be able to share what God has provided with other people!
