We do NOT telemarket!

We have had a number of people call us and tell us that they have given The Open Door generous donations when people called and asked for money.  We do NOT participate in telemarketing.  Our board of directors feels very strongly that telemarketing is unethical, so we have NEVER used telemarketing to raise funds.  If you give to a soup kitchen that is calling and asking for money, even if they say that it is for The Open Door, it is NOT The Open Door, and the money will definitely not end up here!
