Open Door Mission;

Over the past 2 years we have been working with Bruce and his staff at The Open Door Mission. 

The Mission has been of great benefit to Labor Ready in many ways.  First of all they provide us with 30-60 lunches everyday of the week.  This allows us to send our temporary employees out to their jobs with a lunch and ensures they are not going to work without food in their stomach. 

I have also seen first hand the positive impact the Open Door Mission has. 

Every 4th Monday of the month my staff and I serve lunch to the patrons of the Open Door.  We have served anywhere from 50-100 people on a given day, people who would go without otherwise.  It has allowed my team to build a stronger relationship with our temporary workers who utilize the Open Door Mission. 

It is a great program and benefit to the City of Glens Falls.
