A time to give thanks …
Both Debbie and I have seen the hand of God:
·
Providing food, housing, jobs, and finances for many who cried out to God
for help
·
Breaking addictions
·
People confessing to crimes committed – because of wanting to do
what is right
·
Restoring relationships that were broken because of living a selfish lifestyle
·
Physically healing people
·
Moving people forward in life with a good type of love,
self-esteem, and a mind that is more focused and stable
·
Changing people from a “me first” perspective to “how
can I help someone else"
Both Debbie and I appreciate the people of this region:
·
The kindness shown, making it easier for us to help and encourage others
·
For coming alongside of us to help with this huge amount of work
·
Here we have found joy in being able to share our resources with other groups and agencies in the 5 county area
·
Here we have seen the generous out-pouring of love and support for this mission throughout these 20 plus years
·
Here we have seen changed lives – people cared and were there to
help
·
For giving us “kind words” to help encourage us to go on
·
For letting us be a part of their community and lives

On Tuesday,
May 29, 2012, at 1PM, a public forum, “Civic Engagement-Overcoming Barriers
to Service Delivery” has been called by the Interagency Council of Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties . Our challenge is to
successfully and compassionately address the growing needs of people in providing food, shelter, and services, despite an
atmosphere of entitlement and limited resources. This forum will
be held at the First Baptist Church, 100 Maple Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801
May God bless you all for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement.
